No hype, the rumors are true
I was skeptical, and I found out a friend had a Shockerhitch and wouldn’t shut up about how great it is, hauls skid steer and attachments a, claimed he sometimes forgets he’s pulling a trailer around, so I looked at it, and bought into it.
I have several trailers but the worst setup I have is when I run my truck camper and box trailer for extended transport deliveries of motorcycles. First trip was Dallas to Tupelo MS, I never forgot the trailer was back there, but I sure didn’t mind.
The Shockerhitch made an otherwise road trip beating turn into just another Sunday drive. It really does make an incredible difference.
Nothing will solve the bounce and rattle of an empty flatbed rated to haul 16k, but the Shockerhitch does eliminate the buckboard effects of the constant back n forth beating.
I would recommend it to anyone pulling any trailer.

What does a Shocker Hitch do? A Shocker Hitch absorbs the road shock, bumps, bangs, jerks, tugs & sways by filtering them through a built in air ride system. When you hit a bump, you’re you’re changing the weight load placement. If you hit a bump, it’s going to put a lot of weight on the receiver hitch, which is going to take some weight off of the front tires, which then reduces your steering and braking. And then when the weight comes back, it’s going to lift the weight off and transfer the weight on the rear trailer tires, which is what creates sway. The nice thing about an air ride hitch is it absorbs this, which a normal hard connection between the pickup and trailer cannot do this. An air ride hitch naturally reduces the chances of trailer sway in addition to absorbing the bumps and jerks and tugs, making it easier and less stressful on you, your passengers, animals, truck, trailer, equipment and cargo. An air spring bag is the best cushioning device on the planet. This creates a safer smoother towing experience & reduces damage on pickup & trailer. This is because the air ride system is softening and dampening the stress and weight transfer that is created by bumps and uneven roads when a vehicle is towing a trailer on pavement, gravel or rough roads.
