Shocker XR Adjustable Receiver Hitches

Set up for different trailers with Shocker XR adjustable receiver hitches, a solid channel hitch with no air spring or cushions. The reversible channel design provides drop or rise, with 8-hole and 10-hole frame options and a wide selection of ball, pintle, drawbar and clevis mounts. Ratings depend on the shank: 12,000 lbs GTW for 2-inch and 16,000 lbs for 2.5-inch receivers. Capacity and height adjustment also depend on the attachment selected.

Who the XR Series is for

The XR Series is our adjustable receiver hitch without an air spring or cushions: a solid, flip-around channel hitch you can set for drop or rise. The rating depends on the receiver shank:

  • 2" shank: 12,000 lbs GTW
  • 2.5" shank: 16,000 lbs GTW

Tongue weight is 10% of the GTW rating. It fits pickups, service-body and flatbed trucks, RVs, UTVs, Gators and Toolcats, and it’s used for:

  • Contractors and equipment: Equipment, cargo, car and utility trailers, plus pintle-ring trailers.
  • Farm and ranch: Hay wagons, anhydrous tanks and carts, with drawbar, clevis and pintle mounts.
  • Campers and recreation: Campers with high A-frames, boats, race trailers, and ice and fish houses.

8-hole or 10-hole channel?

The XR channel comes with 8 or 10 adjustment holes. The 10-hole channel adds about 2" of drop or rise. Flip the channel over to switch between drop and rise.

Farm Mount Towing Kits

The XR Drop Hitch Farm Mount Towing Kit includes a combo ball mount, a clevis mount, a 10-ton channel pintle hook and a standard drawbar. The Deluxe Farm Mount Towing Kit swaps in the quad-cushion drawbar.

Sway control kits

The XR Sway Control Towing Kit comes with a black or chrome sway-tab combo ball and one or two friction sway bar kits. Use one kit for trailers up to 10,000 lbs and two kits for heavier trailers. If you already own a friction sway bar, the sway-tab drop, raised, and combo ball mounts accept it.
