If you have trailer sway problems and trailer sway is an issue for you when towing a trailer, this Trail Force® air ride sway control towing kit is the solution. The patent-pending Trail Force® air ride receiver hitch is designed for SUVs, flatbed trucks, and service-body trucks where the receiver hitch is mounted inside the bumper. The built-in air system filters the bumps, tugs, jerks, and side-to-side sway you normally feel with a traditional hard connection, giving you a smoother and safer towing experience, whether you’re hauling a camper, boat, or cargo trailer. The adjustable airbag and dual bump cushions absorb road shock and cushion the connection between your vehicle and trailer, reducing wear and potential damage to your equipment while keeping your ride stable and controlled.
This sway control towing kit includes two friction sway control arm kits that connect from the sway control mini balls on the Trail Force® ball mount tabs to the side of the trailer A-frame. These friction sway bars are designed to stiffen the connection between the tow vehicle and trailer, helping keep everything centered and in line by resisting the wind, passing traffic, and rough road conditions that commonly cause sway. You may choose to run one sway control arm on trailers up to 10,000 lbs or up to 24 feet in length, while heavier or longer trailers benefit from running both sway control arms for maximum sway reduction and the most stable towing experience. This makes the kit ideal for travel trailers, toy haulers, cargo trailers, and heavy-duty enclosed trailers where stability is essential.
The advantage of this system is that you can fine-tune your towing setup to suit your needs. The built-in airbag lets you adjust the air pressure for the best ride and load control, while the friction sway bars allow you to dial in the exact amount of sway resistance needed for your trailer. The Trail Force® receiver hitch installs in minutes. Simply slide it into your receiver, air it up, and go. It features a durable matte black textured powder coat finish, a 14,000 lbs towing capacity, 1,400 lbs tongue weight rating, and a versatile adjustable design with multiple height settings for plenty of rise or drop. It is compatible with over twenty Shocker ball mount attachments, including combo ball mounts with sway bar tabs.
If your receiver hitch is inside the bumper, which is common on most SUVs and many service-body or flatbed trucks, the Trail Force® is the ideal hitch to add instant air ride towing to your setup. Manufactured by Shocker Hitch® USA in Jamestown, North Dakota.
Note: This is for full-sized SUVs with an inside bumper mount; the hitch will not work with vans, CUVs & 2WD pickups as the frame is too long when mounting to a receiver hitch under the bumper. However, it will work on 2500, 3500 & taller than stock pickups
