- Smoother Towing Every Mile with Sway Control Max Air Ride Towing Hitch Kit: It improves the ride and makes towing a trailer smoother. Built-in air ride system offers a smoother towing experience. It absorbs road shock, tugs, jerks, bumps, bangs, and sways through the built in air ride suspension system, creating a smooth ride for the tow vehicle and the trailer. It directs the normal towing resistance between the tow vehicle and trailer through the air ride system, which produces a much smoother ride. It also naturally reduces trailer sway by filtering and absorbing the changing tongue weight that occurs when towing on uneven or rough roads. Dual urethane bump cushions offer extra performance on rougher roads and highways. Air ride system is designed with a built-in heavy duty air spring bag for years of heavy duty performance.
- Dual Sway Bars & Combo Ball with Sway Bar Mount Tabs: Get 1/2″ to 4-1/2″ of drop. Featuring either chrome or black 2″ and 2-5/16″ hitch balls with 2 integrated sway bar tabs for mounting the two included friction sway control arm bar kits. Use 1 sway bar for trailers up to 10,000 lbs & 2 sway bars for trailers up to 20,000 lbs. The 1-1/4″ ball with the sway kit, bolts to the sway bar mounting tab to hook up the sway arm bar to the receiver hitch that is connected to the trailer a-frame.

This complete Shocker Max air ride sway control trailer towing kit combines a Shocker Max black air ride receiver hitch with (2) friction sway control arm bar kits, providing you with the necessary tools for a smooth ride. The air ride system absorbs the bumps, bangs, jerks, and tugs by filtering them through the air ride system, which naturally reduces sway. The tow included friction sway arm bars allow you to fine-tune if sway is an issue for you when towing. This system adds an instant air ride trailer towing to your pickup and trailer with the Max Black Shocker air receiver hitch. This Shocker Max Black Air Hitch has a combo ball mount with sway bar tabs and is made for the basic sway control arm/bars with a mini hitch ball. The combo ball mount has both a 2″ hitch ball and a 2-5/16″ hitch ball, along with mount tabs on both sides for the included sway control mini hitch balls. It also offers eight adjustment holes for 1/2″ to 4-1/2″ drop. With a 14,000 lbs tow rating capacity and 1,400 lbs tongue weight. Shocker Air Hitch provides the ultimate smooth ride. We offer a sway control arm bar system kit that connects from the Shocker sway control ball mount part of the hitch to the front of the trailer. This sway control system is used to stiffen the connection between the truck and trailer, keeping it straight and in line with the towing vehicle.
The Shocker 14K Max air ride system sits under the receiver tube, allowing a short distance of 10-1/2″ between the mounting pin and the ball center. California Residents: Prop 65 Warning
This is by far the best air hitch and set up for my Airstream trade wind trailer. Hook it up, set the air pressure and hit the road. It’s way smoother towing and the gear inside my airstream camper isn’t bouncing around either. Very impressed the the Shocker max air hitch.
It definitely makes a different on ride comfort so much smoother I have not tried this way control yet. Will try that when I head to Arizona very happy thanks.
