I only recently began using the Shocker. I am pulling my 30′ TT with a 2023 F250. I made the purchase in hopes of reducing the extreme rough ride driving on poorly maintained interstate roads. I believe the Shocker is helping by reducing the transfer of the bumps to the truck, but it can’t help too much when you hit potholes. All on all I am glad I made the purchase.

Have switched over from 5th wheel to gooseneck, and the shockerhitch parts were outstanding, and did all that I hoped it would

This is my second Shocker Hitch
As equipment changes, so does receiver size and ride height.
Current setup is a F350 SuperDuty towing a lifted Airstream

We have only used this hitch a couple of times but so far it has been great. It replay does a good job of absorbing some of the shock from our cratered Michigan roads. I tow a 23’ camper and a 20’ deckover equipment trailer. Looking forward to how it handles the grain table during harvest.

Hitch came in quick no damage I installed the Hitch and played with the air pressure till I felt like it was correct and man what a difference it made been pulling this camper all over the US and I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to purchase this Hitch

Locking hitch pin is long enough to secure my shocker hitch parts and secure enough to prevent theft.

From the top of the ball before to the top of the ball after using the same pin holes = 2.5” rise. I can use the upper hole and have a total of 3.5” rise. This will set my tig perfectly level.

Well worth the investment! I’ve been towing trailers for decades, and this is probably the biggest improvement I think I’ve ever experienced. It takes all the jarring out of the ride.

We’ve had quite a few hitches over the years, and with this particular setup – a Ram 3500 long bed and an Escape 24, I wouldn’t have thought such a relatively light trailer could cause an uncomfortable bouncing and porpoising over bumps. It is greatly improved over our 2500, so the truck suspension definitely made somewhat of a difference, but it still existed and it was still annoying. We adjusted our E2 weight distribution hitch, made it more and less stiff, and that seemed to help a little bit, but it was obvious what kind of damage that was likely, and would eventually, do to our trailer frame. So while cruising through Jamestown, ND, we stopped in to the factory, hoping to be able to just ask a few question and maybe find a nearby retailer for the product. To my surprise, they have an actual showroom and very, very helpful folks to chat with you, show you, ask all of your stupid questions, and even help you install a hitch if you pick one up! I went with the 20K, just because I’d rather buy this one time and never with I had more weight capacity. And after more than 1K miles, I can confidently say I wish I’d done this MUCH sooner. I was a little concerned about sway, though with the way we load the trailer, this is clearly not a concern. The ride quality is MAJORLY different now! All the little bumps and up/down motion that the trailer tongue wants to do, it’s allowed to do, just not sending that into the truck. We get maybe 4% of the previous bumps that we had previously, which are the larger dips, potholes, etc. but they’re also not porpoising us any longer because the energy is diffused into the bag. It took a second to figure out two things: adjusting the airbag properly, where the rubber bumper is just touching the metal plate (super easy), and that there was an extra spacer that I should have bolted on from the start for our truck that made the airbag ride just a little better (not too noticeable, but probably good for the long term). Otherwise, it’s just… perfect! I cannot believe I went so long without this. I wasn’t ready to believe the hype at first, but now I recommend it to everyone. And of course, nobody believes me and my hype. 😂 11/10 recommend. At least try it, these guys are confident in their product and there’s a great reason for it.

With Friction Sway Arm Kits is beyond a quality and robust hitch system. Quality welds and powder coatings. I purchased over 7 other brands and this is beyond better. Not a single sway in my dual axle extra high enclosed trailer. Now I can pull at 80 mph with no worries.

Unbelievable hitch!! What a difference compared to a weight distribution hitch. Such a smooth ride and took the hard bumps with ease! My wife and I would brace for the big bumps that never happened! Light weight and easy to set up.

Game Changer for Smooth Towing and Saving Bed Space

We have used the Shocker Quick Air 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Conversion Kit twice now, and it has been fantastic. It is incredibly easy to connect, and one of the best perks is that we finally got our truck bed space back.

The ride is remarkably smoother compared to our old setup. With our previous hitch, we would typically find that objects inside the trailer had come loose or even broken during transit from all the bouncing. Since switching to this one, not a single thing has been damaged. It completely eliminates the rough, jarring feedback. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to protect their cargo and improve their towing experience!

No hype, the rumors are true
I was skeptical, and I found out a friend had a Shockerhitch and wouldn’t shut up about how great it is, hauls skid steer and attachments a, claimed he sometimes forgets he’s pulling a trailer around, so I looked at it, and bought into it.
I have several trailers but the worst setup I have is when I run my truck camper and box trailer for extended transport deliveries of motorcycles. First trip was Dallas to Tupelo MS, I never forgot the trailer was back there, but I sure didn’t mind.
The Shockerhitch made an otherwise road trip beating turn into just another Sunday drive. It really does make an incredible difference.
Nothing will solve the bounce and rattle of an empty flatbed rated to haul 16k, but the Shockerhitch does eliminate the buckboard effects of the constant back n forth beating.
I would recommend it to anyone pulling any trailer.
