It directs the normal towing resistance between the tow vehicle and trailer through the air ride system, which produces a much smoother ride. It also naturally reduces trailer sway by filtering and absorbing the changing tongue weight that occurs when towing on uneven or rough roads. Dual urethane bump cushions offer extra performance on rougher roads and highways. Air ride system is designed with a built-in heavy duty air spring bag for years of heavy duty performance.
- Dual Sway Bars & Raised Ball with Sway Bar Mount Tabs: Get 2″ of Rise to 2″ of drop. Choose either a 2″ or 2-5/16″ chrome trailer hitch ball with 2 integrated sway bar tabs for mounting the two included friction sway control arm bar kits. Use 1 sway bar for trailers up to 10,000 lbs & 2 sway bars for trailers up to 20,000 lbs. The 1-1/4″ ball with the sway kit, bolts to the sway bar mounting tab to hook up the sway arm bar to the receiver hitch that is connected to the trailer a-frame. A raised mount is often used if a trailer has a higher tongue or with a pickup, van or suv that is lower to ground.
