It fits a 2 5/16″ hitch ball and features the eZ-latch handle that gives you a fast, easy, and super secure latching and unlatching experience. Auto-latches onto the ball; flip the handle up to release. Quick to hook up and disconnect your trailer. Drop the coupler over your hitch ball, and it auto-latches into place. The corrosion-proof polymer-nylon-resin composite latch handle gives you an impact-resistant, durable design. The 2-hole adjustable channel mount design allows you to bolt this onto the vertical channel of your trailer and adjust the height to where you need it. Mounting hardware is included with SH-D14040-81-B; SH-D14040-81 is supplied without mounting hardware. The 500-hour salt spray rating with the black powder-coated finish offers industry-leading corrosion resistance and is often used in marine applications; it is so good. This black Demco cast steel coupler is SAE J684 certified and made in the USA. It is designed to fit a 3″ wide vertical channel and features a 1-year warranty from Demco. Choose with or without mounting hardware. The SH-D14040-81-B hardware package includes four 5/8″-11 x 1-1/2″ Grade 5 hex bolts and four 5/8″-11 Nylock nuts. For installation on a Shocker Air Trailer Tongue Mount, align the coupler in the bottom mounting holes and insert two bolts through each side. Hand-thread all four nuts until snug, then torque to 100 ft-lb using a 15/16″ socket on the nut and wrench on the bolt. These coupler attachment bolts are separate from the Grade 8 trailer-channel mounting bolts.
