- Adjustable Friction Sway Control: Fine-tune resistance to help reduce trailer sway from wind, passing vehicles and uneven roads. Follow the arm instructions for adjustment, tight turns and backing.
- No-Drill Trailer Mounting: The included SH-7010 brackets clamp around compatible trailer A-frame rails to mount the trailer-side sway balls without drilling the frame.

Great for aluminum trailers and other compatible trailer frames, the two flat clamp plates sandwich the A-frame rail so you can mount the trailer-side 1-1/4-inch sway ball without drilling the frame. The brackets fit 4, 5, 6 and 8-inch-tall frame rails. Supplied hardware fits 2-inch-thick rails; thicker rails require longer 3/8-inch carriage bolts. Choose the SH-1101 single-arm kit with one SH-1001 arm and ball kit and one SH-7010 clamp kit, or the SH-1102 two-arm kit with two of each. A single arm can be installed on either outside A-frame rail. The two-arm kit mounts one assembly on each side, with each clamp surrounding its rail and each friction arm running along the outside. The friction arm connects the trailer-side sway ball to a compatible hitch or ball mount with sway-control tabs. This kit works with compatible Shocker sway control hitches and weight distribution hitches. The hitch or ball mount with sway-control tabs is sold separately.
