- Compatible Hitch Required: Works with a suitable hitch or ball mount equipped with sway-control tabs, including compatible Shocker sway control hitches and weight-distribution hitch setups. Hitch and ball mount are sold separately.

Great for aluminum trailers and other compatible trailer frames, the two flat clamp plates sandwich the A-frame rail so you can mount the trailer-side 1-1/4-inch sway ball without drilling the frame. The brackets fit 4, 5, 6, and 8-inch-tall frame rails. Supplied hardware fits 2-inch-thick rails; thicker rails require longer 3/8-inch carriage bolts. The 6061-T6 aluminum plates have a textured matte-black powder coat, and the mounting hardware is stainless steel. Choose between a single-arm kit that includes one arm and ball kit and one no-drill clamp kit that is great for trailers under 10,000 lbs, or the two-arm kit with two of each and this kit is perfect for trailers over 10,000 lbs. A single arm can be installed on either outside A-frame rail. The two-arm kit mounts one assembly on each side, with each clamp surrounding its rail and each friction arm running along the outside. The friction arm connects the trailer-side sway ball to a compatible hitch or ball mount with sway-control tabs. This kit works with compatible Shocker sway control hitches and weight distribution hitches. The hitch or ball mount with sway-control tabs is sold separately.
