Towing doesn’t have to mean gripping the steering wheel for dear life and feeling every single bump in the road. If you’re hauling up to 8,000 lbs of Gross Trailer Weight with an 800 lb tongue weight, the Shocker Sport Air Hitch totally changes the game. It puts an actual air suspension system right between your vehicle and your trailer. Instead of dealing with that constant, jerky push-and-pull, the hitch absorbs the shock for you. Just add or release a little air to match whatever you’re towing, and you’ll get a genuinely smooth ride that saves both you and your truck from taking a beating.
A smooth ride is great, but white-knuckling through trailer sway is still the worst part of towing. To fix that, this setup includes welded sway bar tabs right on a combo ball. Just hook up a friction sway control kit, and those tabs give you the solid anchor point you need to keep your trailer tracking straight and true down the highway. Plus, the combo ball gives you both a 2” and a 2-5/16” ball, so you can easily swap between different trailers without having to dig around for a different ball mount.

It slides into any standard 2″ under-bumper receiver, making it an easy upgrade for most trucks, vans, and SUVs with the receiver hitch under the bumper, and features 8 adjustment holes so you can nail the exact drop height to keep your trailer level. The base hitch comes in a tough red powder coat, and you get to choose between sleek chrome or rugged black powder-coated balls. It’s a hard-working upgrade that just makes towing a whole lot more relaxing.
Sway Bar combo ball mounts with sway control bar tabs are welded for superior strength. The sway control tab mount is designed to work with the Shocker 1001 Friction Sway control kit, which is not included and is available separately. Suggested to get 1 kit if towing under 10,000 lbs and 2 kits if towing over 10,000 lbs.
