When towing with a 5th wheel to gooseneck hitch system, it is essential to use safety chains, as they are required by law for gooseneck towing. The Shocker Gooseneck Safety Chain Kit is designed to work seamlessly with our Shocker Quick Air 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Air Hitch Conversion Kit and also works with the quick air 5th wheel pin boxes that have the integrated chain mount slots. The chain kit with mounting hardware fits newer Shocker Hitch pin boxes that feature integrated mounting slots for a chain kit. This safety chain kit includes two 42-inch chains, two chain hooks, and two attachment bolts. Each chain is rated for 24,000 lbs., ensuring maximum towing safety.
At Shocker Hitch, we prioritize safer, smoother towing, and using safety chains is a critical step in preventing dangerous situations, such as accidental uncoupling of the trailer from the hitch. Protect yourself and your equipment by incorporating Shocker Hitch Safety Chains into your towing setup. Note: Chains can be used on any gooseneck trailer but different hardware maybe required for installation.
