The heavy duty channel style drop hitch can be flipped around for more drop or rise. This Shocker XR series drop hitch can be ordered with either 0″ to 7-1/2″ of drop or 0 to 9″ of drop, depending on the drop hitch model chosen, and is perfect for taller than stock or lifted pickup trucks. Shocker XR drop hitch has built-in adjustability with 8 adjustment holes or 10 adjustment holes, offering maximum versatility for your towing needs. This Shocker XR drop ball mount attaches by sliding into a standard receiver tube. It also features two hitch pin holes for length adjustment, as well as making it compatible with hitch mount towing mud flaps & rock guards. Use this drop hitch however you need to for tons of versatility. Featuring up to 20,000 lbs GTW and 2,000 lbs tongue weight, depending on shank size. With this adjustable XR drop hitch, the hitch balls bolt to a standard mount with a 1-1/4″ thick bolt and feature a premium chrome finish. Note the 2″ ball is rated at 10,000 lbs and the 2-5/16″ ball is rated at 20,000 lbs.

I’ve purchased two hitches from Shockerhitch, the Shocker Air Receiver hitch with a 2-1/2″ receiver and it was the BEST thing I ever did for pulling a trailer [pull behind travel trailer]. You notice the difference right away and immediately realize that it was money very well spent.
For another truck, an occasional puller [so I pull the hitch out when not using], I purchased a Ball mount hitch.
Both are solidly built, both have excellent craftsmanship. The wife and I will be moving to a fifth wheel travel trailer in the next year or so and we’ll be spending the money for the Shockerhitch 5th wheel cushion.
