- Drop Ball Mount Design: Drop ball mount attachment is often used when towing bumper pull trailers with a lower tongue & ball coupler or with taller than stock or lifted pickup trucks.
- Drop Range Depends on Shocker Receiver Hitch Used With: 8 hole Air Receiver Hitches are 4-1/2″ to 8-1/2″ of drop. Super Drop is up to 12-1/2″ of drop. Trail Force is up to 10-1/2″ of drop. Impact series hitch is 0″ to 7-1/2″ drop. 8 hole XR hitch is 0″ to 7-1/2″ of drop. 10 hole XR hitch is 0″ to 9-1/2″ of drop.
- 2 Trailer Hitch Ball Size Options: Choose drop mount with a 2″, 2-5/16″ chrome trailer hitch ball or with no hitch ball.
- Up to 20,000 lbs GTW: 2-5/16″ hitch ball has 20,000 lbs GTW & 2,000 lbs tongue weight. 2″ hitch ball has 10,000 lbs GTW & 1,000 tongue weight.
- Ball Shank Hole Diameter: Has a 1-1/4″ hole inner diameter center hole in drop mount to bolt on a trailer hitch ball.

If my shocker hitch was stolen. My first call would be to Shocker to order a new hitch. The second would be to the police to report it stolen.
Great item, well built and just what I needed.
I bought this to go with my shocker 8 1/2 in drop hitch. This is well built like all their products the shocker hitch is night and day for me I tow an 8×14 cargo trailer filled with tools and the roads around my area are horrible the hitch is made a world of difference I also use it with my dump trailer well worth the investment!
This is a great addition for my towing needs. I have a 2in ball for my RV and 2 5/16 for my cargo trailer. Takes me 20 seconds to change them. AWESOME.

Know I have the option of switching out the 2 inch ball to the 2 5/16 ball y pulling two pins instead of a pipe wrench and hard labor at a reasonable price.
