- Sway Bar Raised Ball Design with 2″ or 2-5/16″ Hitch Ball: Features two sway bar mounting tabs along with either 2″ or 2-5/16″ trailer hitch ball. 2-5/16″ hitch ball has a 20,000 lbs GTW & 2,000 lbs tongue weight. 2″ ball has a 10,000 lbs GTW & 1,000 lbs tongue weight.
- Designed For Use with 1 or 2 Friction Sway Arm Bar Kits: Two integrated sway bar mounting tabs with center hole for mounting the 1-1/4″ mini hitch ball from a friction sway control arm bar kit, such as the Shocker sway bar kit, part # SH-1001 or similar, which is not included and sold separately.
- Raised Ball with Sway Mount Design: Raised ball mount attachment is often used when towing bumper pull camper trailers with higher tongue & ball coupler or with tow vehicles lower to the ground such as 2 wheel drive pickups, vans & suv’s when way is an issue.
- Rise & Drop Range Depending on Shocker Receiver Hitch Used With: 8 hole Air Receiver Hitches are 2″ of rise to 2″ of drop. Super Drop is 2″ of rise to 6″ of drop. Trail Force is 2″ of rise to 4-1/2″ of drop. Impact series hitch is 5″ of rise to 3″ drop. 8 hole XR hitch is 5″ of rise to to 3″ of drop. 10 hole XR hitch is 7″ of rise to 5″ of drop.
- Fits Shocker Receiver Hitches: Works with Shocker Air, HD, Streamline, Super Drop, Trail Force, Sport, Impact & XR series hitches. Fits a 3-3/4″ ID wide Shocker receiver hitch channel.
- 2 Trailer Hitch Ball Size Choices: Choose mount with a 2″, 2-5/16″ chrome trailer hitch ball or with no hitch ball.

Note: The sway control tab mount is designed to work with up to two, part # SH-1001, Shocker friction sway bar kits or similar, which is not included and are available separately. It is suggested to get (1) kit if towing under 10,000 lbs and (2) kits if towing over 10,000 lbs.

The raised ball mount was a necessity for my F150, in order for my trailer to be adjusted to the proper height of 19″. It is exceptionally built and methodically engineered. My experience with Shoker customer service is second to none! Very responsive to email and phone communication and you get to talk with an American citizen with your questions. Top shelf service.
Excellent Sway Control Setup – Easy Install and Perfect Performance!
I waited until after my first long trip to write this review, and I’m happy to say the entire Shocker setup exceeded my expectations. Installation was simple enough that I was able to do it myself without any issues. Once everything was set up, trailering our RV was smooth and stable — the sway control worked perfectly the entire trip.
Compared to my old sway bar setup, which required a lot of effort and muscle to manage, the Shocker system was an absolute pleasure to use. It’s well-designed, easy to connect, and made towing far more comfortable and confidence-inspiring. Highly recommend this system to anyone looking to improve their towing experience!
First, support was fast and responsive as I was inquiring. Then, when I made the purchase they actually tried to save me money with shipping by not doing overnight shipping when it was coming only 100 miles. They came through when I needed it most (hours away from trip and needed some rise in the ball). After a 2k trip I decided tmi didn’t need to spend another 1k on airbags to get a better pull. Camper floated like a dream behind me. Not the cheapest solution, but these things are made rock solid. Extremely pleased I spent the extra money for this solution .
I originally ordered wrong hitch. I called customer service and they listened to my needs and corrected my problem. This is a quality product with good customer service. I used it for several trips and was very impressed by the results.
I bought the Shocker air ride hitch and loved the improvement in the ride. There was one problem. I wasn’t able to tow level. Was running with a two to three inch low tongue. Thanks for coming out with the raised ball it allows me to tow level.
