An air ride hitch places an air spring into the towing connection, allowing controlled movement between the truck and trailer instead of relying on an entirely rigid connection. An air hitch filters, absorbs and dampens the road shock, tugs, jerks, bumps, bounces and sways through the built in air ride suspension system, creating a smooth ride for the tow vehicle and the trailer. It directs the normal towing resistance between the tow vehicle and trailer through the air spring bag, which produces a much smoother ride. It also naturally reduces trailer sway by filtering and absorbing the changing tongue weight that occurs when towing on uneven or rough roads. It’s easier on you and your equipment. If you consider your truck’s suspension, the truck or tow vehicles suspension doesn’t eliminate potholes, bumps, concrete dividers and rough roads.
