I have a 43’ Road Warrior 415, I gave this a 4 star because I felt there was very little guidance on required inflation pressure. Because it is a large RV with a gross of 20,000lbs, I started at 25 pounds. We were traveling 1500 miles one way. I did not feel we were seeing the performance that I expected, so I bumped it to 30 pounds. The ride still was not good. After we got to the destination, before we came back, I decided to adjust it connected to the truck. I let the air out of the bag until it appeared there was just a little pressure on the bumpers. Turned out to be about 18 pounds in the bag. All the tanks were empty except for about 50 gallons in the fresh water tank. The 1500 mile ride back was much closer to what I expected, the only other thing you could do, is add independent suspension. But let’s face it, the freeways are rougher than 40 grit sandpaper, with this hitch my back finally stopped tensing up for every bump. Except for the very big bumps, it did a great job. Bottom line I would buy another.

Product worked great although I only needed one and we had to take the propane tanks off temporarily.

I had been looking at Shocker Hitches for quite a while and always wondered if they were worth the investment. I’ve towed a variety of utility and flatbed trailers over the years, but it wasn’t until we purchased a travel trailer that I really noticed how harsh and jarring my standard drop hitch was.

After only two trips with the camper using my old hitch, I decided to bite the bullet and order the Shocker Hitch. All I can say is, WOW! The difference was night and day.

The towing experience improved dramatically. The constant jolts and shock loads I was feeling through the truck and trailer were significantly reduced. No more white-knuckle driving through mountain roads, over bridges, or on rough stretches of highway. The annoying “wave” or bouncing effect after hitting dips, expansion joints, or uneven pavement is virtually gone.

Not only is the ride smoother, but towing feels more controlled and much less stressful overall. Looking back, this is a purchase I should have made years ago. If you’re towing a travel trailer, or really any trailer on a regular basis, I highly recommend giving a Shocker Hitch a try. It has completely changed my towing experience for the better.

The Shocker air ride hitch on my gooseneck roll off dumpster trailer is amazing. Once you figure out how much air pressure you need you almost don’t know it’s back there.
