The drawbar mount itself is not rated for any downward force, meaning it handles 0 lbs on TW (tongue weight). (This is NOT for use with a hitch ball). Instead of punishing your ride with a rigid connection, the Trail Force’s built-in air ride system and dual bump cushions actively filter out the jarring bumps, jolts, and tugs of rough rural roads, which inherently helps reduce the tendency of trailer sway.

Note: This SUV, inside the bumper mount, hitch will not work with vans, CUVs & 2WD pickups as the frame is too long when mounting to a receiver hitch under the bumper. However, it will work on 2500, 3500 & taller than stock pickups that have at least 19″ ground clearance from the bottom of the hitch.
