The revolutionary 10,000-series aluminum Shocker air ride receiver hitch. This patent-pending Shocker streamline aluminum air hitch offers instant air ride for your pickup & trailer. Rated at 10,000 lbs GTW. Build your own Shocker Aluminum Air Receiver Hitch and pick your adjustable ball mount. The aluminum design is very stout but makes it easier to attach and remove from your pickup since it is lighter than our normal steel air bumper hitch. Get air ride trailer towing in minutes. The aluminum hitch frame, receiver shank, and paddle offer a rust-free design for years and years for great looks on your pickup or SUV. Shocker 10k Aluminum Air Hitch base frame includes everything, including D-handle black ball mount attachment pins, except the ball mount attachment. Ball mount attachments are available, including combo ball, drop mount, combo with sway bar tabs, drop with sway bar tabs, and raise mount or raised mount with sway tabs.
The aluminum air hitch has a 10,000 lbs tow rating capacity and a 1,000 lbs tongue weight. This Shocker mounts by sliding into a standard receiver tube. Fits Pickup Trucks, Vans, and select SUVs with the receiver hitch tube mounted underneath the bumper.

The air ride system sits under the receiver tube, allowing a short distance of 10 inches between the mounting pin and ball center. Great for pickup trucks, vans, and suv’s with a receiver under the bumper.
The Streamline Aluminum hitch routes towing forces through its air spring and pivoting assembly, cushioning the connection between your tow vehicle and trailer. As tongue loads change over uneven pavement, the air spring absorbs movement while the dual urethane bump cushions provide additional cushioning on rough roads. Adjusting air pressure for your loaded trailer helps the system work properly as your towing load changes.

Yes - this hitch is built for exactly that. 👍 The **Shocker 10K Streamline Aluminum Air Drop Hitch** uses a built-in air spring bag and dual urethane bump cushions to filter and absorb road shock, bumps, jerks, and tugs through a pivoting rocker-arm design. On rough interstate, expansion joints, and washboard gravel, a normal rigid connection constantly shifts tongue weight between the truck and trailer - that's what causes the harsh ride and trailer sway. The air ride absorbs that transfer, so you get a noticeably smoother, more controlled tow and less stress on your trailer's frame, welds, and cargo (your Honda Pioneer included)

we did a 1300 trip with 31 foot 1990 airstream on of the best trip we have ever had smooth ride no trailer jerking and everything in trailer stay put great hitch stoped and a couple of trailer sale lots the sales people were very interest in the hitch
