Locks are solid, like their hitches. Excellent quality
Nice pins, work well, unfortunately not a match for a battery powered grinder with a cut off wheel. My first Shocker hitch was stolen off of my truck, despite having the locking pins. I liked the hitch and the locking pins enough that I ordered them again, I just won’t leave the hitch on the truck unless a trailer is attached. Lesson learned.
Amazing product wish it could have been out on market sooner
It is amazing how much smoother it is towing my Airstream Classic with the Shocker HD.

Love my shocker hitch. Used equalizer hitch before. Shocker much better & alot less messing around getting hooked up. I did at my sway link to it. Was glad to find locking pins for it. This Shocker pin-set is the highest quality hitch lock-pin set that I have ever used. If I had known about these long ago, I would never have purchased all the other locking pins that I did. These are beautifully made, easy to lock/unlock, and well to consider, if quality is important.

My experience: I have found that there are some great hitches out there, but still, outstanding hitches are relatively rare. Outstanding hitch companies with superior customer services are really rare. Even though I have long had my favorite hitch manufacturers, I always wanted Shocker hitches, but I could not afford them. Their hitches have always been exemplar of forward and quality thinking. Recently, I needed a shock-absorbing hitch and mechanical sway mitigation.
I did my due diligence, and I found that Shocker’s hitches were hands-down the best for my vehicle and new trailer. Better yet, the Hitch for impact and sway control were on sale! However, as great as finding that the Shocker hitch I needed was in my price range, I found their expert guidance to be as easy as a phone call, and that I had the option to stay in touch with their same expert, as we worked out details and my concerns. I stayed in touch with Shocker expert Logan, who gave me no sales pressure and enthusiastically explored the details of my worries and need for my specific application. In fact, Logan made sure that I bought only what I needed (less than I initially thought that I needed).
Shipping was rapid, the products came well packaged and were even more impressive in quality, robustness, and design than even their ads represent.
I ordered “Shocker Impact Cushioned Sway Control Tab Raised Hitch”, a three-locking-pin set (keyed the same), and a quick release sway control arm. Now that I have the parts in hand, I have to say that every piece is so well made and gorgeous, that I could just keep them clean and hang them on my wall!
However, Logan’s technical recommendations were spot on; so, the Hitch is actually now in use and definitely dirty.
Incredibly now, I went back to Shocker to ask another question, and they had plenty of immediate technical help for me. However, in that one phone call, as per my request, I was re-connected to Logan. He remembered exactly what we had spoken about and answered my questions. That was fast, helpful, and highly refreshing, considering the “arms’ length” that manufacturers like Curt tend to hold you at.
Kindly note: Curt, among others, is a good company, especially for their state-of-the-art, flexible wireless products. Nevertheless, they do not make their most qualified technical folks readily available, and some of theirs sales “experts” actually give out misinformation about their fine products.
Also please note: I have found no other dealer or manufacturer as well-rounded and customer-centric (especially after a sale) as Shocker.
Personally, I have never dealt with such an immediately accessible, compitent, innovative, and personable company -with top-tier products, as Shocker.
I am glad that I discovered their attributes by purchasing directly from them, which is what I recommend now to others.
Shocker has my unreserved, highest recommendation.

Quality product. Heavy duty pins. All pins keyed alike.
Pins are very strong and look like they will last a very long time. I got the set of three, so they are keyed the same.
This hitch is heavy & solid in its construction. It makes towing a weighty trailer comfortable and gives you the “it’s not behind you” feeling. When we tried towing our boat with pressure brakes the “clunk” feeling we usually had from the stop and go was gone. Worth it

WOW something that actually works better than all the hype have a 2022 f450 and a 2024 39 ft trailer never going back performance is unbelievable like a whole new experience customer service to match great easy to deal with 👍👍
The jolting back slap that was there going over bumps or bridges basically disappeared. Much smoother towing experience all around. Very well designed product won’t tow again without it.

These locking pins cost a bit more than the locking pins you’ll find at your local box store. The build quality is also far beyond those budget locks. These locking pins are machined to perfection. They are well worth the price.
I recently purchased the Shocker Hitch for my 2015 GMC Duramax diesel. I pull a 7×14 ,dual axel, steel frame trailer loaded with tools. The bed of my truck is equipped with a Cargo Glide bed slide loaded with tools also. My first experience with this hitch was about a year ago working with another company. They have them on all their work trucks. I noticed how well the truck and trailer reacted with this hitch system and decided I needed one for my truck. I’m a finish carpenter of 30 years and have done my share of towing trailers to jobsites. This hitch is a game changer and will always be on my truck. Well built and does exactly what the company claims. Thank you for manufacturing another great ( USA MADE ) product.
