They are different from an air ride hitch. Air springs do not increase the vehicle's towing capacity, payload capacity, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) or Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). A level vehicle can still be overloaded. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's ratings and the requirements for your hitch and trailer.
